This painting is based on a photo that I took whilst sailing on a Junk in Victoria Harbour at sunset. It shows the ‘Discovery Bay’ Ferry sailing to my home village on Lantau Island.
Here I aim to capture the moment the Ferry passes west Kowloon in the background with the impressive ICC tower pictured center. I have made this journey countless times and love returning home to ‘DB’ and looking out of the windows at sunset.
