As I stood at the Tri intersection of Lyndhurst Terrace, Wellington & Pottinger Streets, in central Hong Kong. I noticed how the warm late afternoon sunlight radiated off the road in front of me, contrasting with the cast shadows around it. This unexpected moment felt special, and I experienced an overwhelming urge to capture it somehow and to celebrate and share it. Hence this watercolour painting is a celebration of that moment, standing in the heart of Central Hong Kong.
