Presenting my watercolour ’long study’ of a street corner in the bustling district of Mong Kok, Kowloon, specifically at the intersection of Bute Street and Tong Choi Street. While exploring the area looking for my next painting subject, I stumbled upon this vibrant scene. As often happens during my artistic journey, I experienced a powerful emotional response to the overwhelming sensory stimulation that flooded my senses from the environment around me. The sheer vibrancy of life in this street compelled me to capture its intensity on paper.
