In this watercolor painting titled "Mongkok Romance," I hope to transcend the constraints of the photographic reference, infusing the scene with a sense of imagination. By featuring a young couple in the foreground, I invite you to share their vantage point, to glimpse the world as they see it. This piece embodies the uncertainty we all feel when contemplating the future, a life sitting on the edge, in the middle of a vast concrete canyon, reflecting both the physical and emotional dimensions of life in Hong Kong, where tradition and change coexist.
