This watercolor painting captures a vibrant rainy junction on Des Voux Road in the Shek Tong Tsui district of Western Hong Kong Island. On a stormy day, as I rode on the top deck of a tram, the vehicle came to a halt at this bustling intersection. I was immediately struck by the vivid colors of the scene, especially the array of trams and the striking presence of the Tai Fu Mansion apartment building in the background. This moment of inspiration, filled with dynamic hues and urban energy, motivated me to create this artwork.
