Watercolour artwork showing a typical everyday local street scene as viewed along Johnston Road, in Wan Chai district, Hong Kong island. It’s my opinion that, at any given time of the day, at many locations around this city, the uniquely Hong Kong urban landscape, with its wealth of details and local DNA can look both fascinating and beautiful in its own distinctive way.
This painting was shortlisted into the 'Joy in Art' open water colour exhibition 2023 and was displayed both at the Hong Kong Art Center and PMQ.
