Watercolour nocturne painting showing a night scene along Des Voeux Road, Central with the colonial era ‘Court of Final Appeal’ building contrasting with the modern Hong Kong city towers in the background. The neo-classical style building was opened in 1912 & was designed by the same architects who designed the facade of Buckingham Palace.
This artwork has a limited palette of just 5 colours, with no black (the darker shades are created by mixing blue & brown).
