Three-colour ballpoint pen study of a red Fire Hydrant, a ubiquitous and iconic feature of the Hong Kong urban environment and an essential street detail that every Hong Kong street scene must have. I was fascinated by the way the wet paint seemed to ooze, crack, and fold over itself as it dried in the hot afternoon sun.
